We collect account data (name, email, role), maintenance records (machines, work orders, plans), manuals you upload, and AI usage metrics needed to run the service and meter AI credit.

Data is stored in our cloud database and processed by our application servers (Netlify) and AI provider (xAI) when you use the assistant. We do not sell personal data.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data by contacting your plant administrator or support.

GDPR / EU factories (self-service)

Export (portability): Master Admin signed in → GET /api/privacy/export downloads a JSON package of plant records (no passwords, no photo blobs).
Deletion: Master Admin → POST /api/privacy/delete with confirm text DELETE MY PLANT soft-cancels the subscription and records a deletion request. Full hard wipe is ops-controlled (ALLOW_HARD_TENANT_DELETE).
Data residency: configure cloud region with your host (Netlify + Postgres provider). Contact sales for EU-region deployments.

Cookies: session cookie only (HttpOnly, Secure) for authentication.
